Good Dog, Great Dog is not suitable for reactive dogs or dogs with serious behavioral issues.  

Please see  the information for Reactive Rover class if your dog is reactive to other dogs or people.


Pet Inoculations 

For the safety of all our canine students, a recent wellness exam and the following inoculations (age-appropriate), or a letter from your veterinarian verifying that your dog is healthy and free of disease, are required to attend class:

  • DHPP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parvovirus)   ​
  • Rabies
  • A recent wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian, including fecal exam for parasites
  • ​Bordatella (strongly recommended)

The first DHPP for puppies needs to be given at least 10 days prior to attending class.  

Bordetella should be given at least 7 days prior to coming to class.

NOTE:  Follow your veterinarian's recommendations for an inoculation schedule that is appropriate for your pet.  

Puppies and dogs should be friendly or neutral to other dogs and people when in class.  If you are not sure if your puppy or dog will fit well in a class environment, please contact us before registering.

  •  For puppies 10 to 16 weeks old at start of class
  • $130 

Puppy classes focus on:

  • socializing your puppy to the human environment
  • helping you understand your puppy's body language
  • having appropriate puppy play and interruptions
  • introducing your puppy to core behavioral skills
  • Five training sessions with your puppy
  • Companion book provided at no additional cost (one per household, $25 value)​
  •  One orientation for people only prior to the start of your first class (required for new students)​​​; no additional charge
  • Limit 3 puppies 
  • Personalized attention in a low-stress environment
  • ​Classes rotate, so you can sign up the week that's best for you and your puppy
  • If classes are full, you will be put on a waiting list once you have registered and paid online, keeping your place in line

​If you need a private class for your puppy, there are limited time slots available.   ​$140
